Another very interesting and challenging year, the final commission this year was shooting the asteroid Bennu sample on the synchrotron beam line at Diamond Light Source, Harwell. The asteroid sample was collected by a NASA mission some 205 million miles from earth and took 3 years to return. It's hoped the measurements will reveal the origins of life in our solar system. The images are currently under a press embargo until the scientific paper release in 2024, instead I'll share few images commissioned this year by The Rosalind Franklin Institute and Diamond Light Source.Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
